Siegfried (Siegi) Dreger, 87, of Hinckley, Ohio passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2019 in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. He was born on May 27, 1931 in Germany to the late Rudolf and Marianne (nee Hennig) Dreger. Siegi retired from Ford Motor Company as a pattern maker. He was a hardworking man who enjoyed using his hands, including woodworking, metalworking, fishing, and gardening. He was an avid snow skier also. Siegi was always willing to help others and truly had a heart of gold. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Gerda (nee Droger) Dreger of 63 years; loving children Herbert (Leslie) Dreger and Karin (David) Wolford; cherished grandsons Nicholas Wolford and Joseph Dreger; niece Helga (Clemens) Halene; and many extended family members. Friends and family may call on Monday, April 8, 2019 from 12-2 PM at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road Brunswick, Ohio 44212. Funeral Services will begin at 2 PM at the funeral home.
