Stanley R. Shafer, age 82, passed away on February 19, 2025. He was born to the late Stanley and Ruth Shafer on October 20, 1942, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Stanley is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Mary; children Nick Shafer (Shellie) and Rob (Mickey Repine) ; cherished grandchildren Kimberly and Robert Shafer, Joseph (Mary Beth) Shafer, Jillian Watson (Chuck Vanness), Drew Shafer (David Slayton), Brandon (Magan) Shafer, Madeline Rearick (Joseph), Stephanie Roberts; 11 treasured great-grandchildren; dear siblings Steven (Janice, deceased) Shafer and Robyn (Mel) Yull. Stan is preceded in death by his children Christina and Andrew Shafer.

Stan loved spending time and sharing experiences with his family whether it was boating, family gatherings, or attending sporting events. He was handy and ever-helpful, always quick to find a solution to the problem at hand. He enjoyed travel, the outdoors, and golfing with friends. He will be missed dearly and the memories of him cherished.
