Stephen Edward Demczyk passed away peacefully on December 31, 2018 surrounded by family. He was born on December 20, 1978 in Medina, Ohio.  Stephen was known for his wonderful smile. He was known for always having a big smile on his face and for his ability to make friends easily. He had many friends at his group home and he will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Stephen is survived by his mutual mothers, Cathy Demczyk and Cheryl Reed Demczyk Nicholson; siblings, Gina (John) Krakowski and Dean (Franny) Demczyk.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ted E. Demczyk and his grandparents.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Waite & Son Funeral Home located at 765 N Court Street, Medina, Ohio 44256 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation with Pastor Dave Ambrose officiating. Stephen's burial will take place on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at York Township Cemetery.
