Funeral Mass Livestream

Steve S. Waltos (a.k.a. Big Hoss), age 51, peacefully passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021. He was born March 5, 1970, in Garfield Heights, Ohio, to Stanley and Barbara (nee DeMore) Waltos. Steve was a longtime member of Our Lady of Grace in Hinckley, Ohio, and a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #15. He loved his three dogs: Chuckie, Duke and Angel. He was a problem solver with an infectious smile and loved to travel with his family. Steve was known as a 'gentle giant with a heart of gold' and will be greatly missed by his entire family and friends.

Surviving Steve, and cherishing his memory, are his beloved wife, Diana; his loving son, Steven S. Waltos, II (Haile Collier); his caring father, Stanley and stepmother, Christine; his siblings, Daniel (Laura) Waltos, Joseph Waltos and Jessalyn Burke; his niece, Rebecca and nephew, Nathan.  Steve is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Ann Waltos.

Family will welcome friends Tuesday, October 5, 2021, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Waite & Son Funeral Home located at 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30AM Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Our Lady of Grace Church located at 1088 Ridge Road, Hinckley, Ohio. The livestream link for the Mass is located at the top of the obituary. Interment will then follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Valley City, Ohio, where doves will be released to honor Steve's life.
