Steven Boyd Walden, age 67 of Marshallville, Ohio, passed away on June 17, 2025. He was born on July 1, 1957, in Medina, Ohio to parents Lewis Hayne and Myrtle Raye (Clifford) Walden. Steve graduated from Highland High School, Class of 1976. He worked for ODOT for many years doing Highway Maintenance. He enjoyed working in his yard and traveling on trips to many different places. He also worked on farms, caring for the animals and milking cows. He was a kind, friendly man who enjoyed the company of family and friends.

He is survived by his siblings, Sarah P. Collier, Edward (Betty) Walden, and Cindy Mae Weyrick; his niece, Christine Collier; and nephews, Mark & Matthew Collier, and Christopher & Jeffrey Weyrick; his great nieces, Haile, Olivia, Alaina, and Emily Collier; along with many cousins and dear friends. Steven will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Family will receive friends on Monday, June 23rd, 2025, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Waite Funeral Home 765 N Court St, with the Funeral Service immediately following at 7:00 p.m.  Steven's Burial will take place on Tuesday, June 24th, 2025, at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, those attending please meet at the funeral home by 11:00 a.m.
