Susan, 82, passed away peacefully. She was the beloved wife of James, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage — a partnership built on devotion, friendship, and a true and lasting love that served as an inspiration to those around them.

She was the cherished mother of Charlotte (Chip), Amy, James Jr. (Marilyn), and Michael (Jill). Susan had a nurturing spirit and was known for mothering everyone around her, offering care, guidance, and comfort to family, friends, and anyone fortunate enough to know her. She was a devoted grandmother to Calley, Corey, Kyle, Michael, and Matthew, and great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Dorman and Edith, and her sister, Betty. She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Kim, and extended family.

A private family graveside service will be held.
