Tara Celine Pace, 26, of Brunswick, went home to be with the Lord, after a courageous lifetime living with Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CdLS) on Thursday, January 16, 2025, in Akron, OH.  She was born on August 24, 1998, in Medina, OH to Kevin and Tarina (nee Bomba) Pace.

In addition to her parents, Tara is also survived by her siblings; Tori Carlson(Zach), Michael Pace(Lisa), Timothy Pace(Lauren), and David Pace, nieces and nephews; Andrew, Lucas, Avery, Morgan, Connor and Caroline, Aunt Kim (nee Pace) Brichacek(Dave), Uncle Brent Pace, cousins Lauren, Brian, and Matthew, and many other close family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her Grandma and Grandpa Georgia & Ben Pace, Nana and Papa Rudy & Kay Bomba, and Uncle Rudy Bomba.

Tara's family would like to send a special thank you to her loving nurses who provided the best possible care at home: Cindy, Barb, Nancy, Lynn, Shae and all the others who cared for her.  An additional thank you to Dr. Laurel Roach and her staff who played a vital role in her lifetime care as well as the Akron Children's Hospital care team.

Who was Tara? Despite her small stature, Tara was a fighter.  For 26 plus years she beat the odds over and over.  Her tenacity for life was superhuman! Her personality was feisty.  Her smile was contagious.  And her hugs would melt your heart.  She touched the lives of everyone who met her.  She taught us all what is important in life and how to love unconditionally.  Who was Tara? Simply put, a blessing from God.

Family will receive friends on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 2-8 pm at the Waite Funeral Homes, Brunswick Chapel, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, OH 44212.  A celebration of Tara's life will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 11:00 am at Christ Church, 23080 Royalton Rd, Columbia Station, OH 44028 with visitation one hour before the service.
