Thomas Matthew Evans, age 69 passed away May 31, 2022. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Matthew and Marion (nee Sanburn) Evans on June 1, 1952. Tom was married to the love of his life, Kathleen (nee Zaun), for 48 years.

Tom was beloved by everyone who knew him. He liked to make family and friends laugh with one of his many jokes or funny stories. Tom was a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed hiking, camping, hunting, canoeing, and motorcycle riding. It brought him great joy to pass along his outdoor knowledge to his children and grandchildren. Tom enjoyed reading, music, and most of all spending time with his family.

Tom will be dearly missed by his wife, Kathleen; children, Christine (Anthony) Allsop and Daniel (Nicole) Evans; and his 3 beloved grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Timothy.

The family will welcome guests for a Memorial Visitation from 4:00 to 7:30 pm on Friday, June 3, 2022, at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick. A service will follow at 7:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Tom's name to a charity of your choice.
