Timothy Hager, Jr., age 51, passed away on May 30, 2026. Born on January 14, 1975, in Milford, Connecticut, to Timothy Hager (Donna) and Janet Vallee, Tim is survived by his cherished son, Dalyn Candow; his loving sisters, Jeanette Hager and Kathi Bloom; and his brothers, Robert J. Bloom, Michael Hager, and Thomas Hager (Stephanie Sellers). He was a proud uncle to Kevin (Danyel), Nautica, Joshua, Jazmine, Kassidy, Robbie, Arianna, Petey (Brevin), Trinity, and Giovani, and a loving great-uncle to Koda, Kenai, and soon-to-arrive Amari Rose.
Tim lived a simple life, but the impact he had on those around him was anything but small. He had a heart full of kindness and a sense of humor that could brighten any room. Known for his quick wit and legendary “Yo Mama” or “Smell Mop” jokes that could go on for hours, Tim loved making people laugh and creating memories that will be treasured forever.
A devoted Cleveland sports fan, Tim could often be found cheering on his favorite teams, especially the Browns. When he wasn’t working or watching a game, he felt most at peace near the water, casting a line in hopes of catching catfish or bass. Fishing wasn’t just a hobby for Tim—it was one of the places where he found joy and tranquility.
Some of his happiest moments were spent playing Xbox with his son, Dalyn, and his cousin Fred, sharing laughs, friendly competition, and quality time together.
Tim’s love, humor, and unwavering presence in the lives of his family and friends will never be forgotten. Though he is gone too soon, the memories he created and the laughter he shared will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
We will miss his laughter, his stories, his sarcasm, and the love he showed in his own unique way. Tim’s memory will forever be a part of our family.❤️
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 4-6pm at Waite Funeral Home in Medina. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 6pm at the funeral home. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.waitefuneralhome.com.
