Louise Maynard

It is with a great measure of grief that we announce the passing of Vicie Louise Maynard, age 88. She was known to her family and friends as “Louise” or “Aunt Sissie”.

She was born at home to Ralph and Hattie Brewster in Delbarton, West Virginia on July 28, 1937, and gathered into God’s grace and keeping on June 26, 2026.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 70 years, Charles T. Maynard, age 91; sisters Wilma (Paul) Sizemore and Barbara (William) Lawson; nieces Wilma Louise Hatfield, Leea (Ray) Skarowpka, Lorie (Jeff) Kwiecien, Salena Surrarrer; great nieces Melissa (Luis) Casey, Elizabeth Surrarrer, Sarah Grace Kwiecien; many great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Hattie (Evans) Brewster; brother Ralph Brewster Jr; son Charles R. Maynard, age 21.

She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, scrapbooking, baking and flower arranging – developing an impressive talent for all.

She was generous, kind and loving. The world is a lesser place without her in it.
