Virginia A. Caudill

Virginia Ann Caudill, 80, of Akron, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2026. She was born on January 23, 1946, in Cullman, Alabama to the late Watson and Eloise (Self) Caudill.

Virginia is survived by her children Aaron Roberts (Gayle), Kristin Roberts and Amy Wollmann (Chris); grandchildren Anthony Terrell, Christopher Terrell, Nicholas Terrell, Alex Wollmann, Olivia Roberts and Anna Wollman. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings George “Randy” Caudill (Kay) and Mary Wilson; her faithful companion -shepherd Aries. 

She found joy in the simple and beautiful things in life—spending time with her grandchildren, being in nature, admiring flowers, hiking, and sharing her days with the pets she dearly loved. She believed strongly in education and proudly served her country during the Vietnam War. A talented and creative artist, she had a lifelong curiosity and a love of learning. She always encouraged her children and grandchildren to do the same. In her later years, she found particular happiness in cooking, gardening, and nurturing the beauty around her. Her warmth, creativity, and love of life will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

A memorial celebration honoring her life and legacy will be held privately by her family.
