Virginia Dawn Dawson, 76, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2025. Born in Lakewood, Ohio, on September 19, 1948, she was the daughter of Frank and Virginia (Hill) O'Donnell.

Virginia was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She had a passion for service and devoted her life to caring for others. She earned her associate degree and spent her career as a nurse. She also volunteered her time with organizations like Laura's Home, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Brunswick Eagles. Above all else, she was devoted to her granddaughter, Dana, who brought her immense joy.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Veronica (Patrick) Allan and Melissa Dawson (Robert Jorgensen); her cherished granddaughter, Dana Jorgensen; her dear sister, Gayle (Michael) Gareau; and her treasured nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Virginia O'Donnell.

The family will welcome guests from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, Ohio, with a service beginning at 7:00 pm.
