Virginia S Knight, 85, of Medina, passed away in her home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, October 22, 2019. She was born on April 29, 1934, in Massena, New York, to the late George and Alice Agnes (Anderson) Stickley.

Virginia graduated with a bachelor's degree in architecture from Syracuse University. She was very involved in her churches, including University Methodist Church in Syracuse and Medina United Methodist Church, where she participated in both bell choirs. She loved spending her time quilting, sewing, baking and working in her large beautiful flower beds.

She is survived by her sons, David (Ginger) Knight, of Medina, and Mark (Josephine) of Australia; daughter, Krista (Bill Diedrich) Knight of Madison, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Andrew, Christopher, Matthew, Jessica, Christian, Claire, Lauren and Cameron; great grandchild, Elliot; sisters, Dorothy Keck and Margaret Eiland; brother, David Stickley; many nieces and nephews; and her special furry friends, Mercedes, Smudgie, Tabby, Ellie and ChillE.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Wesley Knight; and her parents.

The family of Virginia will receive friends on Monday, October 28, 2019, from 4-7 p.m., at the Waite and Son Funeral Home, 765 N Court Street, Medina. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at 11 a.m., at the Medina United Methodist Church, 4747 Foote Rd, Medina, 44256.
