Virginia "Jena" L. Rundle, 78, of Brunswick, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026. Jena was born on September 16, 1947, in Cleveland, OH, the daughter of Clyde and Eva (Tellep) Bunt.

Jena worked for Brunswick City Schools as the Cafeteria Manager and retired after 27 years of service. Jena devoted much of her time at her church, Brunswick Church of the Nazarene, where she volunteered in the Care Pantry. She enjoyed playing Sudoku puzzles and having coffee with her friends. She often spent time visiting with her family and friends on her back patio swing. Most importantly, it was the time she spent with her family that she enjoyed the most.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Rundle, son, Steven Rundle, and sister, Claudette Coughlin.

She is survived by her daughter, Cari (Will) Wiley and Nichole (Phillip) Darlington; daughter-in-law, Rachel Rundle; grandchildren, Amber (Caleb) Hall, Alex Wiley, Emily (Michael) Lally, Isabella, Jack, Penelope, Francesca, and Violet Rundle, and Amaryllis Darlington; brothers and sisters, Edward Bunt, Rosemary Bunt, Richard (Jan) Bunt, Jean Palmer, and Charlette Stachurski; brother-in-law, Marty Coughlin; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 9:45 am at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, OH. A Celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 2 pm at Brunswick Church of the Nazarene for both her and her son Steven Rundle, with a luncheon to follow.
