Virginia L. Stilgenbauer, 89, of Brunswick, passed away August 1, 2024.

She was born in Berea, West Virginia on November 17, 1934 to Wardner and Eva (Earl) Hodge.

Survivors include her children, Jackie (the late Ken) Vinez, Jill (Gene) Klaus, and Harry Scott (Brenda) Stilgenbauer; eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 68 years, Harry;  and five sisters.

Virginia was a longtime member of Brunswick United Methodist Church. Family was the most important thing to her, and she will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. She greatly enjoyed hosting family get-togethers.

Visitation will be held from 12-1:30 p.m., Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick, where funeral services will take place at 1:30 p.m. Interment will take place at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick.
