William Eric Chandler

William Eric Chandler passed away at age 79 on May 21, 2026 in Medina, Ohio. He was born October 29, 1946 to Ted and Willette Chandler and grew up on his family’s farm in Medina, Ohio. He graduated from Medina High School in 1964 and from Ashland College in 1968. He then lived most of his adult life in Cleveland, where he worked as a home health aide. He loved reading and history and was a savant when it came to reading/memorizing maps.

He was predeceased by his parents and is survived by his sisters Joellen (Andrew) Burnett and Christine (Robert) Wilder of Medina.

The family is grateful for the care Bill received at Medina Meadows and from Hospice of the Western Reserve.

The family will have a private memorial service.
