William "Bill" F. Jordan Jr., age 76, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2025.

Born in Ohio to William and Marjorie Jordan, he grew up in Rocky River before settling in rural Chatham Township with his wife of 54 years, Laura. Together, they raised two children, Bill (Kim) and Missy (Nick) on the farm they cherished.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Laura, who was his partner in every sense of the word; his sister Molly, cousins Rupe, KY, and Doug; and beloved nieces and nephews.

A U.S. military veteran, Bill graduated with a degree in finance and spent more than 25 years in the banking industry. After retiring, he devoted himself to conservation work with the Western Reserve Land Conservancy.

His love for wildlife provided wings to Laura's dream and together they founded Medina Raptor Center. Thanks to their vision and efforts, hundreds of injured birds are rescued, rehabilitated, and released each year.

Bill's life was one of quiet impact, deep loyalty, and unwavering care. He will be remembered not only for his accomplishments but for his kindness, humor, humility, and the steadfast love he gave so freely to those around him.

He leaves the world better than he found it—a legacy as enduring and beautiful as the land and wildlife he worked so passionately to protect.

A celebration of this wonderful life will be held on Thursday December 18, 2025, from 4:00-7:00 pm at Waite Funeral Home-Medina Chapel, 765 N. Court St. Medina, Ohio 44256. Refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be available.  Please join the family and share stories of Bill with an open floor from 5:00-6:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Medina Raptor Center or the Western Reserve Land Conservancy in Bill's honor.
