William "Pete" David Martin 75 of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 18, 2025, in Nashville Tennessee. He was born August 8, 1949, in Beckley, West Virginia to the late Albert William and Arlet Wilda (Harvey) Martin

He joined the US Air Force in 1968 and was a proud Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He became a member of the American Legion and American Legion Riders. He was also a VFW Bronze Legacy Life member and a DAV life member. His love for his motorcycle allowed him to travel all around the country.  Above all, Pete loved everyone in his family and always showed up for all their celebrations.

Pete is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Georgia "George" Sue (Ryan) Martin; Daughter Carrie (Marc) Ball of Norwalk, Ohio;  Grandchildren Kailee (Morgan) Flowers, Marissa (Shaun) Marcil, Nolan Flowers, Makilee Ball, and Marc Ball Jr.; Great Grandchildren Landon, Adalyn, Asher; Sister Linda (Barton) Krueger of Medina, Ohio; Brother Garry Martin of Aiken, South Carolina. Sister-in-Law, Best Friend and Riding Buddy Bea Ryan;  Nephews Matthew (Emily) Krueger and Zachary (Meghan) Krueger; Great Nieces and Nephews Julia, Brendan and Tyler; a million and one cousins; and his Faithful dog Izzy.

He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Wilda Martin.

Friends may call from 5-8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 30, 2025, at Waite Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina, OH, 44256.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the funeral home.  He will be laid to rest with military honors at Granger-Fairview Cemetery in Granger Township.
