William Alexander Robishaw, 29 years old, of Creston, Ohio, passed away on June 29, 2026. He was born on February 2, 1997 in Medina, Ohio to Jeffrey and Nikki (Strauss) Robishaw.

Sergeant William (Wil) Robishaw was a decorated United States Marine Corps Veteran, serving ten years of active duty. Throughout his two contracts, he served as a Fixed Wing Airframe Mechanic of F/A-18 Combat Aircraft, Collateral Duty Inspector, MARSOC Geospatial Imagery Analysis Specialist, and Special Ops Capability Specialist (SOCS-G). His service brought him to over 12 states and at least 7 countries across multiple deployments and exercises; Most recently (July, 2024 to January, 2025) he was deployed to the southern Philippines with Marine Special Operations Company - Mike in support of Counterterrorism, Maritime Domain Awareness, and Great Power Competition operations. He separated honorably from the Marine Corps in July, 2025.

After his exemplary years of service, Wil completed Lineman School to become a Power-Line Technician, bringing his family home to Ohio for his new career. Wil started his path as a Fiber Technician for Spectrum until he landed his dream job with Local IBEW 71 as a Lineman Apprentice. Wil’s dedication and drive showed in every aspect of his life, his work, and his family.

Wil enjoyed an innumerable amount of activities and hobbies including Transformers, DC and Marvel Comics, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Warhammer, video games, Tabletop/Card games, and dozens more. As his interests progressed, cars, guns, motorcycles, bourbon, and weight lifting joined his regular rotation of pastimes. Wil spent countless hours hand painting his Dark Angels Army, building his Magic decks, collecting achievements in video games, and crafting his various firearms. He had a seemingly endless supply of friends and family that supported his every endeavor. Wil especially loved sharing these things with his wife.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 11 Years, Alicia (Payor) Robishaw; his parents; sister Jessica Robishaw (Matthew Parsons); mother-in-law and father-in-law Angela and Jeffrey Beard; brother-in-law Nathaniel Payor; Grandmother Maria Strauss; Grandfather Philip Strauss (Lynn Methlie); Grandparents Thomas and Donna Robishaw; Uncle Bryan Strauss (Karen Cramer); Uncle Christopher Strauss (Jennifer); Aunt Jennifer Robishaw; Cousins Sebastian, Oktober, Tristan; and a lifetime of collected family and friends.
