Wilma Catherine Klimik, age 88, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026. She was born on July 19, 1937, in Cleveland, Ohio.

Wilma was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. She was known for her kind heart, warm spirit, and generous nature, always ready to help others. Family was the center of her life, and she took great joy in time spent with those she loved.

Wilma had a deep appreciation for nature and found happiness in flowers, birds, and the simple beauty of the outdoors. She also enjoyed collecting cherished keepsakes, and trips to the casino were a favorite pastime. Her warmth and quiet strength left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Deborah Durnwald, Joseph (Susan) DiVito, and Sandra Schaldach; step-children, Bernard (Kareen) Sargent and Joyce Almeida; grandchildren, Mary Durnwald, Michael Durnwald, Mathew (Kristin) DiVito, Jennifer (Mike) Krejcarek, Kristen (Frank) Premura, and Katie (Ethan) Kuhleman; eight great-grandchildren, Arabella, Ava, Harper, Caroline, Elizabeth, Abigail, Hannah, and Brooklyn; and sisters, Margaret Close and Dorothy (Martin) O'Callaghan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Margaret Metivier; husbands, Joseph J. DiVito and Norman E. Klimik; and sister, Dora Lee Metivier.

The family will welcome guests from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, Ohio, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm. Wilma will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park.
