Marita Tulisiak, age 62, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 21, 1952 in Cleveland, OH. Marita volunteered at Malachi House with her therapy dog Maisie, was the former Director of Birth Care for Medina County, and co-founder of 100 Women Who Care of Medina County. She will always be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Marita is survived by her husband Dr. Terrence Tulisiak, to whom she was married 38 years; children Kelly (Matt) Stepnowsky, Kate (Brennen Randquist, fiancé) Tulisiak, and Kyle (Nikole Henry) Tulisiak; grandchildren Zadie and Brooklyn Stepnowsky; and brother Gary (Sharon) Nolan.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jay and Rita (Schriner) Mikolay

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 15, 11:00 A.M., at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 606 E. Washington St., Medina. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends Sunday from 3-7:00 P.M. at the Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina.
