Samuel G. Wagner, Jr. "Mike", 68, of Medina, passed away May 17, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was born in Detroit, MI on February 17, 1947 to the late Samuel G. Wagner and Elizabeth O. (O'Neill) Wagner. In July 2012, Sam retired after 35 years from a career in Sales. He loved gardening and could always be found in his yard meticulously tinkering with his landscape and chatting with neighbors. Sam greatly enjoyed traveling abroad with his wife Gail, but he especially loved spending time in Nantucket and Aruba with his family and friends. He faithfully studied scripture, and was passionate about photography. Most of all he adored spending time with his grandchildren.

Sam is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years Gail; loving children Casey (John) Haverluck and Benjamin R. (Megan) Wagner; dear grandchildren Kelsey and Greyson Haverluck and Lillian and Jenna Wagner; siblings Ann Miller, Robert (Eileen O'Shea) Wagner, Steven (Linda) Wagner, Mark (Tamara) Wagner, and Thomas (Lisa) Wagner.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday, May 22, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Ambrose Church, 929 Pearl Rd, Brunswick. Family will receive friends Thursday from 4-8 P.M. at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St, Medina and then Friday from 10:00 A.M. until time of mass at 11:00 A.M. at the Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Hudson.
