Paul J. Barrick, 72, of Hinckley, died Wednesday, April 29, 2009 in Cleveland. He was born October 31, 1936 in Bemis, West Virginia.
Paul was a truck driver. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a BSA volunteer and was involved in Teamsters. Paul enjoyed camping and traveling, and was a good family man.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Mary (nee Riffle) Barrick; sons, John Barrick of Virginia, Paul (Nicole) Barrick of Olmsted Falls; daughters, Anna Marie Barrick of Hampton, Virginia, Eloise Barrick of Hopewell, Georgia, and Geraldine Barrick of Mill Creek, West Virginia; grandchildren, Benjamin, Nathan, and Leilah; sister, Dorothy (Guy) Sentz of Pennsylvania; and brother, Thomas (Chris) Barrick of Shinnston West Virginia; numerous nieces and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Florence (nee Paugh) Barrick; and brothers, Walter, Phillip and Robert.
Friends may call at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road (Rt. 303 at I-71), Sunday, May 3, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Friends may also call Monday, May 4, 2009 at 10 until the 11 A.M. funeral service at Granger United Methodist Church with Dr. Tom Joyce officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
