Linda Louise Barrington, age 68, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016. She was born in Barberton on June 29, 1948, to Charles Herbert and Betty Jane (Vinson) Gifford. Linda retired from the City of Brunswick, after spending 27 years as a tax clerk. She also volunteered her services to the Erhart Fire Department as a firefighter and EMT. Linda was a crafter. She enjoyed knitting, crochet, and macramé. She dearly loved spending time with her grandkids and friends, especially during bunco or at the bowling alley. Linda is survived by her husband of 49 years, Keith Barrington; children David (Cynthia) Barrington, Lisa (Paulo) Amaral, Bryan (Shelly) Barrington; grandchildren Nicholas, Brandi, Carolyn, and Nathaniel Barrington, Olivia and Sabrina Amaral; great-granddaughter Lizzy; mother Betty Hutchens Wirtz; sisters Rebecca (William) Searcey, Loretta (Ronald) Felty, Barbara (Gerald) Nothstine. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Herbert Gifford. Funeral services will be held at 7 P.M. on Friday, November 11, 2016, at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina.
