Alvin Keith Latak, age 66, passed away October 20, 2023.  He was born in Ashtabula on September 25, 1957, to the late Joseph L. and Doris M. (Southall) Latak.  Alvin served his country in the USMC Reserves and was known to be a workaholic-not out of necessity but because he enjoyed it.  He was a former UPS driver and had his own landscaping business, a venture that he truly loved doing.

Alvin is survived by his children Brandon (Courtney) Latak and Meghan (Mike) Pasco; five grandchildren; siblings Ronald (Debbie) Latak, David (Cathy) Latak, Joseph Latak, Kathy (Raymond) Walker and Roger (Martha) Latak.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Beth Cooley.

A family committal service will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery in Ashtabula where he will be laid to rest with his mother, Doris. Online condolences and memories may be left for the family on Alvin's guestbook at www.WaiteFuneralHome.com .
