Carol M.
Muhlhan
Dec 20, 1952 — Apr 14, 2024
Carol M. Muhlhan, 71, of Brunswick, passed away April 14, 2024.
She was born on December 20, 1952 in Cleveland to the late Francis and Eileen (Burns) Miller.
She was a registered nurse and cared for many people at Lodi Hospital, Medina Hospital, the U.S. Postal Service, and the VA, where she made many friends.
Carol had a memorable laugh and a well-known mischievous side. In her North Olmsted High School yearbook, she had her picture placed next to her alter ego, "Peggy Millway"--it was her claim to fame. She enjoyed visiting the family cottage in Quebec, loved any beach with a sunset, and considered herself an amateur pyrotechnician.
Carol adored her children, Jesse Muhlhan and Erin (Matthew) Hendrick; grandchildren, Michael, Maggie, Frank and Tom; siblings, Patricia Miller (Bill Lucas, deceased), Mary Lou (Matthew) Voicik, and Donald Miller; her loving nieces and nephews; and many friends, especially Jamie Font and Patt Buckley who were her constant companions and helpers. She was always a natural caretaker and dedicated her later years to raising Michael and Maggie with her husband of 44 years, Michael E. Muhlhan, who died in 2021.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m., Saturday, April 27, 2024, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 1800 Station Rd., Valley City, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
