Carolyn Queen Rising, age 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 24, 2024, in Medina, Ohio. She was born in Shelby, North Carolina on March 15, 1941, to the late Rochelle and Ollie (Queen) Ingle. She moved to Medina, Ohio in 1960 after she graduated from Rock Hill, in South Carolina. Carolyn was a faithful woman and active member of Litchfield Baptist Church. She was an avid reader and could always be found reading her daily bible verses. She also loved to garden, and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, David Rising; her son, Russel "Rusty" Fischer; a sister, Susie (Doug) Lager from Blywood, SC; stepdaughter, Heather and granddaughter, Cali from Gray Court, SC; along with several nieces, nephews, in-laws, and a lifetime of collected friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rochelle, and Ollie Ingle; her brother Russell Ingle from Sweetwater, TN; her sisters, Patricia Ann Wallace and Ray Lanette Ingle from Shelby, NC.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 29, 2024, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Litchfield Baptist Church, 4022 Avon Lake Road, Litchfield, Ohio 44253 with a Funeral service Immediately following at 4:00 p.m.
