Catherine H. Bayne, age 87, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2023 in Lakewood, Ohio. She was born to the late John "Jack" and Williamina (Hunter) Corstorphine in Kirkcaldy, Scotland. She loved being in the company of her family. She enjoyed golfing and bowling for most of her life and was a member of Rustic Hills Country Club. Catherine worked in the office of Local 436 before retiring.

Cathy is survived by her children, John (Barb) Bayne, Alan (Elaine) Bayne, Sheila Bayne, Jimmy (Nicholas Huggett) Bayne, Audrey (Toussaint) Herring, Mathew Bayne, and Scott Bayne; grandchildren, James, Joey, Tony, Katie, Aimee, Sherry, Justina, Dan, Mekhi, Brayden, Molly, Natayla, and Liam; and numerous great grandchildren and friends.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Bayne; her daughter, Debbie Gilles, and her parents, John, and Williamina Corstorphine.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 5, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N Court Street, Medina, OH 44256. She will be laid to rest at Medina Center Cemetery with a family ceremony.
