Daniel E. Thomas, 76, of Spencer, passed away December 15, 2022.

He was born in South Charleston, West Virginia on November 27, 1946 to Oscar M. and Mary A. (Wittington) Thomas.

Survivors include his wife of eight years, Mary (Bedall); children, Christina (Scott) Miller, Daniel Thomas, Jr., and Chelsea (Miles) Flight; grandchildren, Khera, Gehrig, Luke and Ben; and sister, Roberta Jividen.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his late wife, Deborah Thomas; daughter, Kimberly Thomas; and siblings, Mary Thomas, Dean Thomas, Richard Thomas, Pat Drennan, and Barbara Floren.

Daniel enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He will always be remembered as a kind and warm-hearted person.

A Celebration of Life will be held in West Virginia in March, with date and time to be announced later.
