Donna L. Schafer, age 80, peacefully passed away Friday, January 27, 2023. Donna was born August 12, 1942, to Joseph and Gladys (nee Scott) McMillen in Cleveland, Ohio. Donna had a love for life. She enjoyed meeting new people, traveling, and spending time with family. She had a strong faith in God and loved to sing. Donna would always strive to ensure those she loved were taken care of and happy. She was the owner of a cleaning company, an active member at St. Mark Lutheran Church and served as a marriage counselor. She was an artist and loved painting, gardening and spending time at the campground. Donna will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Left to celebrate Donna's life are her loving children, Tina (Jim) Talarczyk and Traci (Daniel) Grassa; her cherished grandchildren, Annabella, Dante, and Jaydon; her sister, Patricia Preston; and many extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Tami Paladino-Hirsch; her first husband and soulmate, Phillip Paladino, and second husband, Robert Schafer.

The family will welcome friends from 2pm to 6pm on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Waite & Son Funeral Home located at 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick, Ohio. A Celebration of Donna's life will be held Monday, February 6 ^th at 10:30am. Inurnment will take place privately at Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted, Ohio.
