Edna W. Greenhorn, age 95, passed away peacefully just ten days shy of her 96th birthday on May 7, 2024, in Medina. Ohio. She was born to the late Arthur and Emma (Everett) Wetton on May 17, 1928, in Akron, Ohio. Edna loved books and enjoyed her life career as a librarian at the Stow, Akron, and Medina Public Libraries after achieving her master's degree.  She enjoyed traveling to see her family and to explore new places around the world.   She loved music, plays and being outdoors.  She was a member of Medina United Methodist Church.  She cherished every moment with her family, and her most fulfilling role was that of wife, mother, and grandmother.

Edna is survived by her loving children, her 2 daughters, Janet (Bruce) Taylor, Ellen (Rob Brown) Greenhorn, and son, Doug (Karen) Greenhorn; 4 beloved grandchildren, Arthur Taylor, Curtice Taylor, Ian Greenhorn, and Amy Greenhorn; along with a lifetime of friends, especially those at the Western Reserve Masonic Community in Medina.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Richard Greenhorn (2002), and her parents, Arthur, and Emma (Everett) Wetton.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life service on Friday, May 17, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Western Reserve Masonic Community, 4931 Nettleton Road, Medina, Ohio 44256 with Reverend Dr. David Tennant officiating.
