George Toneff, age 94, peacefully passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021. He was born January 16, 1927, in Detroit, Michigan, to Tony and Mary (nee Koladin) Toneff. George enjoyed life to the fullest. He was a teacher for the Cleveland School system and was a member of the Lincoln High School Alumni Association. George was also a member of the Varsity 'O' Club (Ohio State University) in Columbus, Ohio. George was very kind to all people.

Left to celebrate George's life are his loving children, George Toneff, Steve (Marty) Toneff, Cheryl (Anthony) Fontana and Michael (Tina) Toneff; his ten cherished grandchildren; his 20 adorable great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends. George is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Helen (nee Zelei), his brother, Bob, and daughter-in-law, Janet (nee Radics) Toneff.

The family will welcome friends on Thursday, July 29, 2021, from 4 to 8PM at Waite & Son Funeral Home located at 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11AM on Friday, July 30, 2021, at St. Colette Catholic Church, 330 W 130th St, Brunswick, Ohio.
