Kathryn I. Wickes, 77, of Brunswick, passed away November 9, 2021.

She was born on October 4, 1944 in Canton, to Richard and Eleanor (Toth) Behrens.

Survivors include her children, Michael (Lauren) Wickes and Rachel (Ron) Wynn; grandchildren, Jordyn, Nolan, Talon, Carter, and Ashlynn Wickes; siblings, Peggy, Jeanne, Mary, Carol, Bill, Andrea, Marty, Teri, and Steve; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Donna.

Kathryn retired as a Registered Nurse, having served her entire career at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital in Cleveland. She was an avid swimmer, an animal lover, and was always very charitable to worthy causes. Kathryn enjoyed reading newspapers and listening to the news. She also enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

Visitation is 10 a.m. – 12 noon, Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick, where funeral services will take place at 12 noon. Interment at Hope Memorial Gardens, Hinckley.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to PBJ Connections, 9734 Jug St. NW, Pataskala, OH 43062, a charity that provides professional behavioral health therapy to children, adults and families through horses, counseling and nature which is operated by Kathryn's niece, Holly.
