Lena Sue Goodyear (nee Willoughby), age 71, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022, after a battle with cancer. Lee was a devoted wife to David Goodyear. A loving mother to Howard Goodyear (Abby), Connie Kerr (David), and Dakota Goodyear. An adored grandmother to Will, Allison, Aliza, and Bradley. Treasured sister-in-law to William Goodyear (Mary Ann) and Bruce Reinke Sr., along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.

She was born February 24, 1951, in Garfield Heights, Ohio. Lee was a 1969 graduate of Aurora High School. She married David in 1972 and they enjoyed 50 years of marriage. Lee worked as an accountant, eventually retiring from Owen E. McCafferty, Inc. In her retirement, Lee spent her time working on the family farm, Spring Mist Farms, LLC, and watching her grandchildren. Throughout her life, Lee liked to travel, read, spend time with family, was an officer in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Brunswick Fire Department, a VFW auxiliary member, a member of the Brunswick Fire Department; where she served as an EMT, and a long-time member of the Brunswick United Methodist Church, serving in several roles including a treasurer and in the choir.
