Meagan Sophia Spurgeon, age 30, of Elyria, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on June 9, 2024. She was born to Scott A. Spurgeon and Darla J. Larson-Spurgeon on February 7, 1994, in Richmond, Virginia. Meagan adored her daughter more than anything and was an amazing mom. She loved her job, her coworkers, and loved working as a registered nurse for CCF Lutheran Hospital.

Meagan is survived by her daughter, AnnaStella Marie Spurgeon; her parents, Scott and Darla; her siblings, Jessica Lynn Spurgeon and Hannah Elizabeth Spurgeon; her nephews, Denver and Dallas Spurgeon; her grandmother, Marilyn Larson; her aunts, Jinann (Rod Bartlett) Larson and Linda Larson; her cousins, Michael (Haley) Usoz, Melissa Usoz, and Nicole (Troy) Knight; and her beloved dog, Asker.

She was preceded by her paternal grandparents, Leslie and Patricia Spurgeon; her maternal grandfather, Theodore Larson; her aunt, Judith Spurgeon; and her uncles, Thomas Spurgeon and Dale Spurgeon.

Memorial visitation will be Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina, OH 44256. A Celebration of Meagan's Life will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Meagan's name to Oasis of Hope PPSC, P.O. Box 1827 Medina, OH 44258.
