Robert M. "Bob" Boulton

April 25, 1929 - March 14, 2022

Robert M. "Bob" Boulton, age 92, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2022 at his home.  He was born on April 25, 1929, in Evanston, IL to the late Donald and Helen (Lovejoy) Boulton. He graduated from Evanston High School and Albion College.  Bob proudly served as a member of the 101st Airborne Division based out of Breckinridge, KY.  He worked as a Controller for Union Carbide for over 35 years.  He was extremely active and passionate with the Boy Scouts of America having earned his Eagle award and serving as a leader for several decades.

A selfless and devoted family man, Bob is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Mary Beth (Peterson) Boulton; children, Wendy (Jay) Tomme of Colorado Springs, CO, Steven M. Boulton of Medina, OH, Gregory (Bonnie) M. Boulton of Simpsonville, SC, and Christine (Joe) Grubbs of Ashland, OH; 7 grandchildren, Matt, Jennifer, Christian, Allison, Katie, Jonathan and Grace; 2 great grandchildren, Fischer and Holland; and extended family and friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his oldest son, Jeffrey M. Boulton of Columbus, OH.

Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 2-3 p.m., at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 Court Street, Medina, OH followed by a memorial service including military honors at 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's memory would be gratefully accepted by Boy Scouts of America or Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
