Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, Susan K. Tonda passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, February 15, 2023. Born to the late Merle and Gladys (nee Cravener) Robertson on February 26, 1946, in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, Susan was the heart of her family. She adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and was affectionately known as "Nan" or "Angel Grandma." She loved family game nights and weekend girls' trips. She was a gifted seamstress and singer, and she also enjoyed drawing, cooking, family vacations, and most of all, time with her family and friends. She was the epitome of strength, grace, and dignity, and she leaves a legacy of love for all who knew her.

Susan's memory will be cherished by her devoted husband of more than 55 years, Allan Tonda; children, Michele Tonda-Townsend, Allan (Lucie) Tonda, Jr., and Nicole Tonda; grandchildren, Anthony, Shelby, Rachel, Katelyn, and Emma; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Barbara. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Edith, Esther, Merle, and Gladys.

The family will welcome guests from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 9:00 am on Monday, February 20, 2023, at St. Colette Catholic Church, 330 W. 130 ^th Street, Brunswick. She will be laid to rest at Hope Memorial Gardens in Hinckley.
